On this World Frog Day, we are excited to announce an expansion to our California red-legged frog program with our conservation team raising 1,000 recently collected frog eggs. The year-old frogs you see in this video will be released in Yosemite National Park later this year. California red-legged frogs are a federally-threatened species and this multi-year program to restore this native species is important to maintain the park’s biodiversity and contributes to a healthy park system.
